Gurgaon, as a city, has been a great place for me to live in and watch evolve every day. What makes it a great city is not only the buildings and the malls and the like, but also the people that despite its shortcomings, never fail to compare Gurgaon to a Singapore or Dubai .

I do believe that Gurgaon has a long way to go before it can win accolades putting it in the same league of world's best cities as a Dubai or Singapore . I am also of the firm opinion that Gurgaon is indeed one of India 's finest cities today and is racing faster than most other cities to reach that top spot.

Gurgaon has an amazing variety of restaurants serving practically all cuisines of the globe, some of the most luxurious real estate has been built in Gurgaon and the city boasts of many high end clubs and spa / saloon with treatments from all over the orient.

The hotels in Gurgaon are always beaming full, restaurants are packed until midnight, bars and clubs have always got patrons waiting to get in – It can't get more happening than this, and in this same stride, we have undertaken the mission of developing a portal to serve Gurgaon in a manner matched by no other site.

There are not many columnists writing regular reviews for Gurgaon restaurants, so this portal offers thousands of us Gurgaon residents an option to opine on our favorite restaurants for the benefit of all residents and visitors, too!

At GCL, we are trying to create a social connection between individuals from all walks of life, individuals that are keen to connect on topics as diverse as roads, restaurants, schools and hotels – everything that makes Gurgaon so special in the minds of everyone that lives or works here, or even passes through it on any day.
